Our season opener was 20+ MPH ice cold winds

THIS TRIPS SCOUTING INFORMATION AND NOTES:

The swells were rather calm and nice, the water was clean nice clear, the water continued to stay clean through the late afternoon than began to dirty up as the incoming tides began after noon. The 20+ MPH icy cold winds made it impossible to not want to find shelter to fish or wear layers like it's winter time for this time of the year. Baitballs were very hard to locate amd when we found them it was spotty at best for this time of year. We needed to drive around alot looking for bait to follow and that in fact made the difference as the outgoing tide was at 11:00am today, most of the bait were flushed out already. It was disappointing to see we had rather good tides, current and water clarity but the chilly icy winds destroyed any confidence in all the open areas, nothing was safter from the high wind gusts that never seemed to slow down and only got faster throughout the day.

..... SEE YOU ON THE WATER!
